Nightmare Announce Deal for Veteran LF Friday, March 12th , 2021 Jonathan Ashley stepped before the podium this afternoon with New York officials flanking him on both sides as he doffed the Nightmare cap and announced he'd reached an agreement to play in New York for 1 year. The deal, an estimated $150,500 in total, is widely seen as a positive move for an organization and an upgrade. Ashley has a career .258 batting average and .378 on-base percentage. He has recorded 2136 hits with 250 doubles, 75 triples, 636 homers, 1532 RBIs and scored 1702 runs since coming into the league. |
