Oakland Swaps Cabrera to San Francisco for Evans Thursday, January 13th , 2022 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Oakland Invaders and the San Francisco Fire have agreed to a deal that will have 35-year old 2B Jonathan Cabrera heading to San Francisco in exchange for 34-year old SS Andrew Evans. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Career-to-date Cabrera is hitting .274 with a total of 233 home runs. Looking at his career numbers, Evans has played in 1448 games with a .245 batting average. Among his 1155 hits are 248 doubles, 50 triples and 43 home runs. He has also scored 443 runs and driven in 426 runs. |
