Phoenix-Hollywood Announce Swap Monday, December 16th , 2024 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Phoenix and Hollywood have agreed in principle to a swap that will send a 3rd round draft pick to the Stars with 29-year old C Mike Pierskalla joining the Gladiators. Phoenix general manager Brian Hughes would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. Pierskalla has a lifetime .247 average with 1016 hits, 192 doubles, 9 triples, 176 home runs and 551 RBIs to date. |
