Oakland-Charleston Deal Confirmed Tuesday, November 12th , 2024 The Oakland Invaders announced a deal with the Sea Dogs today, sending 25-year old 3B Ryan Ward and a 3rd round draft pick to Charleston for 25-year old minor league RHP Jared Trombley and a 3rd round draft pick. It had been talked about for the past few weeks and everything came together late last night. All players are expected to be joining their respective clubs shortly. Looking at his career numbers, Ward has played in 310 games with a .289 batting average. Among his 330 hits are 68 doubles, 2 triples and 26 home runs. He has also scored 139 runs and driven in 135 runs. In his career, Trombley has chalked up 25 wins and 18 losses and compiled a 3.59 ERA. |
