NC Gives Best Pitcher Award Monday, November 11th , 2024 National Conference hitters didn't have much of a chance in the 2024 season when the Cincinnati manager wrote "Dave Harvey" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, he held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 18-6 mark and 2.81 ERA in 32 starts, tossed 214.2 innings, fanned 225 and held opposing teams to a .242 average. For his superb season Harvey was today named the NC Cy Young Award winner. He received 2 first place votes out of a possible 5. Sean Stevens of the Charleston Sea Dogs finished second in voting with 2 first place votes, while Rodrigo Lemus of the San Diego Fleet finished third with 1 first place vote.
