Pines Send Rivera to Vancouver Sunday, November 10th , 2024 It took some time to iron out the details, but the Pines and Caribou have agreed to a swap. Vancouver will get 25-year old 2B Tobias Rivera and 22-year old minor league LHP Jeff Cox with Maine receiving 26-year old 2B Brian Myers in return. A source close to the trade talks said the two clubs were initially looking to make a bigger deal, but discussions broke off late last night. The two sides reconvened early today and eventually settled on this deal. Over his career Rivera has batted .227 and collected 82 hits, 12 home runs and 42 RBIs. In his career, Myers has hit .312 with 658 hits, 169 doubles, 2 triples and 39 home runs. His totals also include 227 RBIs and 278 runs scored. |
