Bowman's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Thursday, October 10th , 2024 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Indianapolis Eagles today as they learned that starting pitcher Jerry Bowman had suffered a setback in his recovery from a torn back muscle and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is 6-7 weeks. This year, Bowman has fanned 60 in 70 innings and collected a 4-1 record with a 2.44 ERA. |
