Rookie of the Month Won by Cabriales Tuesday, October 1st , 2024 Ruben Cabriales's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young Detroit first baseman has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .333 with 4 doubles, no triples and 6 home runs. Cabriales also scored 11 times and drove in 17 runs. This season, Cabriales has 28 home runs and a .301 batting average. |
