More Injury Problems for Indianapolis's Jesse Walker Tuesday, September 24th , 2024 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Indianapolis Eagles today as they learned that starting pitcher Jesse Walker had suffered a setback in his recovery from a sore elbow and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is one week. Thus far this season, Walker has posted a 10-6 record, started 26 games, struck out 137 batters in 157 innings and compiled a 4.18 ERA. |
