Nightmare Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, September 24th , 2024 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," New York Nightmare second baseman Bill Geeslin said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. New York last appeared in the postseason in 2013. This is their 11th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 18 times in their 25-year history. |
