Charleston Wins Championship Series Friday, October 23rd , 2026 With a narrow 4-3 series win, the Charleston Sea Dogs have eliminated the San Diego Fleet and are Championship Series winners. "We tried not to look ahead to the World Series, but we thought we'd be there for sure," said shortstop Charlie Paquin, who was named series MVP. Charleston won the final game by a score of 9-1, wrapping it up at Peter Seidler Memorial Stadium. Paquin's big series saw him hit .320 with a .393 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Charleston Sea Dogs will play against the Halifax Heathens in the next round.
