Austin Playoff Hopes Officially Zero Saturday, September 21st , 2024 Austin Desperados fans are no doubt having a rough day today. The club came close, but in the end has fallen short and was mathematically eliminated today from qualifying for the postseason. Before this season, the Desperados last missed the playoffs in 2019. In the 25 years they have been a American Baseball Association franchise, they have made the playoffs 13 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Desperados have only missed the playoffs once. Austin has won the World Series 3 times in their history. |
