Halifax Wins Championship Series Monday, October 19th , 2026 The Halifax Heathens outclassed the Boston Whistlers in all facets of the game throughout the AC Championship Series. The end result was a Halifax series sweep to advance to the World Series, capped off by a 12-8 win in the final game. "We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said right fielder Eric Kukowski, who hit .350 in the series. Kukowski's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .350 on-base percentage and had 2 home runs, drove in 7 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Halifax Heathens don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the San Diego Fleet - Charleston Sea Dogs series. Charleston leads the series 3 games to 1.
