Trouble in Cincinnati, Sherlock Suffers Setback Sunday, October 18th , 2026 The Cincinnati Royals trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Heath Sherlock's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Royals third baseman is being treated for a fractured ankle. During a routine exam, Sherlock's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another 4-5 months. Heath Sherlock is expected to undergo surgery in Cincinnati(Ohio) tomorrow. For the season, Sherlock is hitting .237, batted in 41 runs with 8 home runs and 42 runs scored. |
