Title Captured - American Conference South Division Won by Halifax Monday, September 16th , 2024 Halifax Heathens's manager David Morris ran some numbers after all the games were played today, and came to a quick realization - it's done. Halifax has clinched the top spot in the division for the 8th time, and now has to be considered one of the favorites in the annual challenge for the World Series. A reporter from the Halifax Herald caught up with some fans who were celebrating outside of Estadio Azteca when they heard the news. "I've always believed in this team. I've been a fan of the Halifax Heathens since the beginning," said season ticket holder John Masters. "I'm looking forward to celebrating our 2nd championship soon!" |
