Daytona Beach Won't Make Playoffs Sunday, September 15th , 2024 Not even a torrid finish to the season can land the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles in the playoffs now -- the Sea Turtles were mathematically eliminated from playoff contention today. The Sea Turtles have missed the playoffs 18 times in their 20 years as a American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 7th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2017. In the last 10 seasons, the Sea Turtles have only made the playoffs once. Daytona Beach last won the World Series in 2017. |
