Phoenix, Chicago Make Deal Sunday, December 17th , 2023 Done deal! The Phoenix Gladiators have agreed to send 20-year old minor league 2B Edwin Retana, 16-year old minor league LHP Jose Suazo, 20-year old minor league RHP Keith Kramer, and 20-year old minor league SS Steve Bloomquist to the Chicago Gangsters for 24-year old SS Clemente Julio and 27-year old RHP Josh Shropshire. The trade, rumored for days, was completed in the wee hours this morning. Over his 399-game career Julio has compiled a .292 batting average and collected 441 hits, 47 home runs and 201 RBIs. |
