"It means I'm wanted somewhere. At least one team sees potential in me." Those were the comments heard after the Chicago Gangsters came to an agreement to deal 25-year old LF Ryan Atkins to the Phoenix Gladiators for 20-year old minor league RHP Bill Roderick and 19-year old minor league RHP Tyler Findley earlier today. The deal is expected to be formally announced later this evening. Atkins has a career .268 batting average with a .321 OBP. He has hit 45 homers, driven in 122 runs and scored 104 runs since he came into the league. |
