Star of the Week Named in NC Monday, September 22nd , 2025 One of the league's most exciting young players, Alan McConnell of the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles earned himself National Conference Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 22-year-old shortstop had a lofty .429 average (12-for-28), collecting 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. Thus far this year, McConnell is hitting .297 with 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 10 runs scored. |
