American Conference South Division Champs Crowned: Halifax Heathens Friday, September 19th , 2025 The Halifax Heathens have dealt with a season's worth of challenges and survived to be crowned the American Conference South Division champions. Shortstop Leo Orozco was exuberant in talking with the media after the clinch. "This is what it's all about, I couldn't be happier right now," he said. "We've got a special team here and I think we are going to do big things." The Heathens have a record of 86-71 and the division win is the 9th in franchise history. "We want to bring the 2nd American Baseball Association championship to Halifax," said team owner Seth Guillen. "I firmly believe my players and coaches will get it done." |
