Bad News for Halifax, Sumney Injured Monday, September 15th , 2025 Nick Sumney of the Halifax Heathens was injured in today's game against Dallas and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a strained lat, and he is expected to be out for up to 4 weeks. It happened while Sumney was running the bases. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." Sumney is hitting .281 for the season with 9 home runs, 44 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 122 hits in 434 at-bats and played in 123 games. |
