Oakland Eliminated from Playoff Contention Monday, September 15th , 2025 The Oakland Invaders may still need a piece or two before becoming championship material in American Baseball Association. The team has fallen short of its playoff goals this year, being officially eliminated from the playoffs today. "I feel like we have a great group," Invaders manager Dillon Moyer said. "We happened to come up short or our goal, though. We'll re-tool and be back stronger next season." Oakland last appeared in the postseason in 2023. This is their 2nd consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 12 times in their 26-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Invaders have made the playoffs 7 times. Oakland last won the World Series in 2022. |
