Calle's Season Could be Over

Reynaldo Calle is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Philadelphia organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 13 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The 22-year-old starting pitcher suffered the injury throwing a pitch in a recent game against the Phoenix Gladiators.
