Heathens Send Contreras to Boston Wednesday, December 28th , 2022 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Heathens announced today the acquisition of 20-year old minor league RF Todd Stevens and a 5th round draft pick from the Boston Whistlers in exchange for 26-year old C Orlando Contreras. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Heathens, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Contreras has a lifetime .229 average and .308 on-base percentage in his career with 90 hits, 14 doubles, 1 triple, 4 home runs, 39 RBIs and 37 runs scored. |
