Dallas, Charleston Deal Made Saturday, December 17th , 2022 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Dragons announced today the acquisition of 25-year old RHP Nick Kirshner and 23-year old LF Fred Hernandez from the Charleston Shiners in exchange for a 3rd round draft pick. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Dragons, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Hernandez is hitting the ball at a .259 clip over his career. In 226 games he has delivered 232 hits, 32 home runs with 122 RBIs and scored 109 times. |
