Gangsters Swap Castilla to Fire for Cook Sunday, December 26th , 2021 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Chicago Gangsters and the San Francisco Fire have agreed to a deal that will have 25-year old 2B Bobby Castilla heading to San Francisco in exchange for 19-year old minor league LF Tim Cook and 20-year old minor league 3B Roberto Vigueras. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. In his 631-game career Castilla is batting .249 with 146 doubles, 18 triples, 64 home runs and 231 RBIs. He has stolen 165 bases and scored 334 times. |
