Trouble in Daytona Beach, Sweeton Suffers Setback Friday, December 24th , 2021 George Sweeton was taking it slow and easy nursing blurred vision back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Daytona Beach team official, "George was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 23-year-old Sea Turtles left fielder will be out at least another one week. Lifetime Sweeton is batting .269 and has totaled 19 home runs. |
