Oakland Deals Bute to Chicago for Christman Wednesday, December 15th , 2021 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Invaders announced today the acquisition of 28-year old RHP Zachary Christman from the Chicago Gangsters in exchange for 19-year old minor league RHP Larry Bute and a 1st round draft pick. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Invaders, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Chicago will retain a portion of Christman's remaining contract. During his career, Christman has recorded 102 wins and 82 losses with a 3.41 ERA and limited other teams to a .235 average. |
