Charleston on Top of National Conference South Division Thursday, September 4th , 2025 The Charleston Sea Dogs have accomplished the "first step in a long journey" tonight, according to starting pitcher Andy Weatherholt. "National Conference South Division champions has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? But we're not done yet, this is just the beginning," he said. Weatherholt, of course, is referring to trying to win the 3rd World Series in team history. "We won't be happy until we're champions of American Baseball Association." With a record of 94-49, Charleston's crown is the 8th division title for the franchise. |
