Fire Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, September 4th , 2025 Only the most die-hard fans thought the San Francisco Fire still had any chance at making the playoffs this season, but now even those hopes are dashed. The team was officially eliminated from postseason contention today. This is the club's 5th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2020. In total, the Fire have missed the playoffs 20 times in their 26-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Fire have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
