Kirkham Misses Time with Day-to-Day Injury Tuesday, September 2nd , 2025 Boston star right fielder Willie Kirkham was injured yesterday against Syracuse while running the bases. He sustained a strained rib cage muscle and is listed on the injury report as day-to-day. The team trainer said Kirkham will likely not miss too much action, perhaps 4 weeks. This year, Kirkham has hit at a .298 clip with 65 RBIs, 19 home runs and 59 runs scored. |
