Bechdel and Townsend Traded Tuesday, December 14th , 2021 The Cleveland Brawlers swapped 24-year old 3B Keagan Deming and 29-year old SS Adam Bechdel for 27-year old 3B Eric Brewer, 24-year old minor league SS Tom Krueger, 25-year old 3B Mike Townsend, and 23-year old minor league C Joe Carroll of the Invaders after what Oakland officials would only characterize as "difficult" negotiations. In his career, Bechdel has hit .277 with 964 hits, 43 home runs, 377 RBIs and scored 357 runs. In his career, Townsend has played in 381 games with a .260 batting average. Among his 317 hits are 42 doubles, 5 triples, and 47 home runs. He has also scored 158 runs, walked 116 times, tallied 15 stolen bases, and driven in 138 runs. |
