Oakland Deals Bear to Chicago for McKinstry Tuesday, December 14th , 2021 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Oakland Invaders and the Chicago Gangsters have agreed to a deal that will have 18-year old minor league RF David Lewis, 20-year old minor league 2B Jason Bear, and 19-year old minor league LF Gabe Santiago heading to Chicago in exchange for 25-year old 1B Steve McKinstry. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. In his 642-game career McKinstry has hit .275 with 664 hits, 170 home runs, and 453 RBIs and has scored 366 runs. |
