Shiners Move on to Championship Series Monday, October 9th , 2023 The Charleston Shiners have booked their place in the Championship Series. By a score of 2-1, the club ousted the Cincinnati Royals in the Divisional Series tonight at The Castle. Charleston won the series by a 4-1 margin. The series MVP was Shiners second baseman Danny Lebron. For his part, the MVP said he is not putting too much stock in the individual honor and instead simply "looking forward to the next round." The Charleston Shiners will play against the Maine Pines in the next round. Maine won their series against the San Diego Fleet 4 games to 0.
