Chris Phillips Out for Season Wednesday, August 13th , 2025 Chris Phillips has to call it a season. The Hollywood Stars starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Maine Pines and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Phillips was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and stated that he would not be able to play for 12-13 months. This year, Phillips has compiled a 6-12 record with a 5.44 ERA in 25 starts. |
