AC's #1 Pitcher is Hart Sunday, November 14th , 2021 Joe Hart of the Halifax Heathens has been selected the premier pitcher in the American Conference and will receive the Cy Young Award for 2021. The top vote-getter completed the year with a 18-3 record. He started 25 times, threw 171 innings, chalked up 100 strikeouts and 35 walks, limited hitters to a .213 batting average and posted an impressive 1.84 ERA. He received 2 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Luke Scrimger of the Austin Desperados finished second in voting, while Jonathan Allen of the Halifax Heathens finished third.
