McBride Garners NC Top Skipper Award Saturday, November 13th , 2021 Manager Brad McBride was speaking before a Cincinnati fan luncheon when word came down that he'd been awarded the National Conference Manager of the Year. McBride's face turned to surprise as the club's owner made the hasty announcement. "Wow... how lucky can a guy be? Manage a great bunch of guys... have great fans... have a great season... and now this... life don't get any better than this." Cincinnati fans applauded, recognizing how fortunate they were to have McBride at the helm. Both fans and players in attendance toasted their skipper as they truly enjoyed the day. 2021 was an extra-special season for McBride as he piloted the Cincinnati Royals to a 89-73 record and a second place spot in the National Conference North East Division standings. A record good enough to win the 2021 Manager of the Year Award. |
