Ziersch's Season Could be Over Tuesday, August 5th , 2025 Doctors in Charleston said Nelson Ziersch might not play anymore this year. The Sea Dogs right fielder suffered a broken bone in the elbow during a game against the Fountain Hills 23ers and will be out for at least 6 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. Ziersch is hitting .263 this year with 13 home runs, 50 RBIs and 88 runs scored. He has 114 hits in 433 at-bats, 59 walks and a .363 on-base percentage. Ziersch has played in 109 games. |
