Friday, August 1st , 2025
No matter what the Fountain Hills 23ers threw at him, Eric Hicks hit it. He easily handled 23ers pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the Pines triumph, 13-4, at Fountain Park.

Told of Hicks's quip, 23ers skipper Efren Nieman said he "would take him up on that next time."
Eric Hicks singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and struck out in the 9th.
