Robinson Swats 3 Homers Tuesday, July 29th , 2025 Jerry Robinson was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 16-8 Indianapolis Eagles triumph at Eagles Stadium. The 24-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Eagles past the Fountain Hills 23ers. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Robinson told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The left fielder went 3-for-5, rung up 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Jerry Robinson flied out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Bryan Hallberg in the 3rd, struck out in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Pedro Rodriguez in the 5th and hit a two-run home run off Joe Woolverton in the 8th. So far this season, Robinson has gotten 86 hits in 319 at-bats for a .270 batting average with 32 home runs. His stats include 71 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has played in 96 games. |
