Injury Setback for Pines Calder Friday, September 11th , 2026 Just when it looked like Ben Calder would soon return to the Maine Pines, the starting pitcher suffered yet another setback in his recovery from high ankle sprain. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when Calder experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be out of action for at least 2 weeks. So far this year, Calder has compiled a 1-4 record with a 3.26 ERA. |
