Rookie Pitcher Reels in AC Award Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 Nate Benson certainly made a name for himself with a standout August. Voters were impressed enough to name him the American Conference's Rookie of the Month. The 26-year-old Boston hurler racked up 4 wins and 1 loss and posted an ERA of 2.61 in 41.1 innings of work. He restricted other teams to a .221 batting average, notched 49 strikeouts and walked 11. So far this year, Benson has a 7-3 record with a 3.42 ERA. |
