Day Crowned Batter of the Month in August Tuesday, September 1st , 2026 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 25 Dale Day has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young San Diego Fleet star can enjoy the numbers he put up in August, which have garnered him the nod as the National Conference Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .353 average with 6 home runs, 22 RBIs and 18 runs scored. This year, Day is batting .280 with 138 hits, 29 home runs, 98 RBIs, 85 walks, .383 OBP and has scored 87 runs. |
