Hollywood's Taylor Injured, Out of Lineup Monday, August 31st , 2026 Doctors in Hollywood said Fred Taylor might not play anymore this year. The Stars starting pitcher suffered a torn back muscle during a game against the Detroit Giants and will be out for at least 4-5 months. Club officials told BNN they do not expect him to return to the team this season. On his stats sheet this season, Taylor shows a 2-2 record, 15 starts, 61.2 innings, 61 strikeouts and a 5.11 ERA. |
