National Conference Announces Best Manager Sunday, November 13th , 2022 The Oakland Invaders had an outstanding season, much of it due to their astute and gifted skipper. For his managerial excellence, Tyrone Hairston reaped the reward of being voted National Conference Manager of the Year. "A manager is only as good as the players he's managing," Hairston told reporters. "If I didn't have the talent to work with, making all the right moves wouldn't have helped a bit." Under Hairston the Invaders finished first in the National Conference South Division with a record of 99-63. |
