Maine Trades Donovan for Oakland's McKinstry Tuesday, November 8th , 2022 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Maine Pines and the Oakland Invaders have agreed to a deal that will have 24-year old 3B T.J. Donovan and 18-year old minor league LHP Randy Wall heading to Oakland in exchange for 26-year old 1B Steve McKinstry and 25-year old 1B Aaron Nelson. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Donovan has hit for a .272 career average and totaled 308 hits, 33 home runs and 121 RBIs. In his career, McKinstry has hit .269 with 812 hits, 216 home runs, 554 RBIs and scored 461 runs. |
