Season Over for Chris Benson in Dallas Sunday, August 9th , 2026 Chris Benson of the Dallas Dragons was injured in today's game against Oakland and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a torn rotator cuff, and he is expected to be out for up to 13 months. It happened while Benson was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." So far this season, Benson has logged a 8-9 record with a 3.97 ERA. He has started 23 games, hurled 127 innings and registered 105 strikeouts and 53 walks. |
