San Francisco Stops Herrera Hit Streak Tuesday, August 4th , 2026 The San Francisco Fire pitching staff did its job, holding hot-hitting Carlos Herrera hitless in 4 at-bats during the club's 5-1 victory over the Boston Whistlers at Whislters Park. The disappointing performance ended a 25-game hitting streak for the first baseman. "I'm a little down right now," Herrera said after the game.
