Julio Ups Hit Streak to 30 Consecutive Games Friday, July 26th , 2024 Clemente Julio collected 2 hits in today's game and extended his hitting streak to 30 games. His club, the Phoenix Gladiators, beat the Halifax Heathens, 8-7. "Right now, when they throw me the ball, it looks the size of a softball," Julio quipped to a BNN reporter after the game. "I'm excited about how things are clicking." Clemente Julio singled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
