Setback for Captains and Clark Owens Thursday, July 25th , 2024 A frustrated Clark Owens told reporters today that he would be out an additional one week after suffering a relapse in his recovery from a knee contusion. "I thought my recovery was coming along great, but then this happened," the Tampa Bay Captains left fielder revealed. "It's disappointing. I expected to be back with the team by now." Owens is currently hitting at a .272 pace with 24 home runs and 73 RBIs. He has played in 99 games and scored 54 times. |
